Who We Are
ABOUT US
We are a binational (U.S.-Mexico) ensemble dedicated to the living tradition of Latin American theatre — from its boldest political voices to its most intimate personal stories.
OUR STORY
Anima Latina Ensemble was founded with a clear belief: that Latin American stories deserve a dedicated stage, told with artistic rigor and deep community roots.
We work at the intersection of art and social equity — producing world-class theatre while remaining grounded in the communities whose stories we tell. Every production is an act of cultural affirmation.
Our ensemble brings together directors, playwrights, designers, and performers from across Latin America and the Latino diaspora. Together we forge a space where language, memory, and imagination collide.
What Drives Us
Cultural Affirmation
We believe Latin American stories are universal. We put them at the center of culture to create bridges of understanding and shared humanity.
Social Equity
Art is a right, not a privilege. We design our work to be accessible, affordable, and reflective of our community.
Artistic Excellence
We strive for artistic rigor and a deep sense of care in every production, play, and program we bring to life.
